"Happy New Year" Or Just Another New Year

Image
First of all, before I get down to  business , I would like to start of by thanking everyone who has read my blogs through out this year, this blog page has had over 20, 000 views I really appreciate it, I'm happy that this blog has helped many people. And may the Holy Spirit continue to use me writing blogs and helping & teaching people. I didn't think I would be doing this for long but I did. This year I told God ,when the year started I wanted to be in his presence and be firm in my faith because if not I'll leave the  presence of God and go back to the world  , now I am, I told God to reveal to me what and who is bad for my  spiritual  life so I can cut them or it off and I cut it off. Because I had this revolt that this can not be another year where  spiritually  we're not moving forward. As I said to my  spiritual  advisor, my pastor whom I spoke with today and my fellow Christians in a prayer group chat that I'm in, on What'sApp ,that 2016 has to b

A Letter To The Youth

Image
Dear Christian to youth. To whom this may concern, whether you've been going to church, experienced in the faith or you've recently given your life to Christ at a young age, I write this letter to you. The best time to give your life to God is at your youth, because you'll be destined for a great future believe me, no disrespect to the elderly but God can only do so much with them, compared to a youth who is energetic, lively and  strong, not that I'm saying the elderly people are useless, but once you past a certain age life is over it's better you give your youth now then years later when it's too late! God loves the youth, the youth are the pillars of the church, the backbone of society and the future leaders of tomorrow. It makes my heart so happy seeing young people going in for Jesus, leaving this dead and corrupt world behind. But I'm here to warn you, your life will not be a bed of roses and if God is not in the centre of our lives our life will b

We Must Have The Spirit Of Job

Image
Before you break my neck or you are going to be shocked lol, with what I'm going to say, but God will test us or allow us to go through bad things/times to tests our character. Because it's easy to serve and praise the Lord in happy times but in sad times many where it's very difficult and most give in crawl into a pity of emotions. In the verse above God tested Job and he passed the test with flying colours!!!!! Even when he lost everything his children, his business he even became sick but in midst of all his struggle. He was still firm in his faith and this is how we are meant to be. Crying and being depressed or even being pessimistic is what the devil wants from us, so he can drag us out of the kingdom of heaven. For example I'm pretty sure it was him that was using Job's wife to tempt him to curse God, and Job didn't. Job 2:9-10 spiritually speaking there's many "Job's wife" in our lives there's that friend, colleague or family mem

There's a Difference Between God Understanding and Knowing

"God knows" "God Understands" These are excuses many Christians make when they do not do what is expected or required of them in their faith, and it really jars me to the core, if you don't want to do something then say and own up to it, I'm not just talking about your faith but in all aspects of your life, excuses is another way of the devil distracting you and taking you away from the kingdom of God. It's always "God understands" when we miss a sermon on Sunday, when we fall into sin or when we are being corrected. God knows our situation doesn't mean He understands it, for example He knows that you're tired from that long shift you did at work the night before, it doesn't mean He's going to understand that you used that as an excuse not to pray before you go to sleep or go to church the next day. That's where we have messed up as Christians we confused knowing with understanding. Remember like I said in a blog I wro
