 Is it Church Hurt Or You Didn't Want To Be Held Accountable? 

 So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

¹⁸ He said to Him, “Which ones?”

Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ¹⁹ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ ”

²⁰ The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?”

²¹ Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

²² But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

I had a "friend" the apostrophe meaning they're no longer my friend, who stole from the offering, they were troubled as they say so the pastor would hold them accountable, unfortunately, they left the church, how many people do this they leave the church angry, bitter or upset because they didn't get what they want or didn't want to be held accountable like the rich young ruler in the above church Jesus told him what to do, but because it wasn't what he wanted to hear he walked away never to hear from them again, just kike many ex Christians who were held accountable and are screaming church hurt, and making all sorts of disgruntled social media posts or Youtube episodes about their ex-church?

Church hurt leads some people to leave the presence of God for example cases like being molested, abused, raped even being bullied and harassed which are understandable and we must pray for healing and justice for these people but there are some reasons like being rebuked by a church leader, pastor not saying hello to them or someone trivial, and this is where the devil puts pride in people to leave, we don't like to be corrected or rebuked, we like to be in our ego, and this is sad we don't leave our jobs, family or sports team when they let us down or correct us so why would leave the presence of God? 

Our salvation can't be toyed with and I'm not talking about a church or spiritual institution, we can't leave for trivial reasons because we are in our feelings, or no one can tell us anything, let God use the ushers, pastor and church leaders to hold us accountable, a rebuke is sometimes is what's needed to shake up our faith, sometimes it's even God speaking to us through that correction don't be like the religious people who were offended by the gospel of Jesus then they plot to kill Jesus.
