Purity Gospel Is Problematic!

There's never been such a problematic gospel as the purity gospel, there's been all sorts of problematic and terrible doctrines but nothing as problematic as this one. 

What is the purity gospel? A gospel that teaches you the more you abstain and refrain from fornication and sexual acts the "better" you are than those who who have taken part in those things, yes we must abstain and prepare ourselves for marriage as the scriptures say, but we also shouldn't have an inferiority complex over those who are not abstaining. It has also been an issue in the Christian community when Christian couples or married couples have had a lack of desire for each other purity gospel has taught us that affection or sex is so bad that Christian married couples have suffered. Sex is not a bad thing it was given to us by God unfortunately society and the devil have perverted it doesn't mean we should stigmatize hence why I'm so against the purity gospel! 

How do we combat purity culture? Learning as much as abstaining is great, and showing affection in moderation & intercourse is not of the devil or a bad thing, that just because you don't fornicate or you're celibate doesn't mean you're better than this who are, we are human, we feel things we have desires, God didn't make us be robots to follow problematic doctrines that make Christianity look bad!!!!!!!

Spiritual Priorities

If you ask me "what's the main principle of being a Christian?" I would tell you it's to put God and the things of God FIRST!!!!!!! But this is the thing that I don't see much of Christians in this era, most of us don't value our spiritual priorities or sadly don't have any. What do I mean by spiritual priorities? It's how we prioritize the things of God and how we serve God in our day to day lives. This is what saddens me, slowly and slowly many Christians put God and their faith as the last thing on their list of priorities. There's always an excuse why we didn't go to church, why we didn't pray, why we don't seek or fast and so on and so on, because we put our lives, the things of this world and our busy schedules before God. Okay it doesn't help that we live in the era of technology and demanding work and commitment schedules in life but surely if we serve a great God surely we can make time for him in a 24 hour day??? The Spirit Of Disobedience
