Honour Your Family

As a Christian before the world, the society we have to show a good testimony and a good advert to our family, hence why one of our most important duties is to honour our family. 

How does a believer honour their family? Respecting our parents, uncles and aunties, being giving to our siblings, cousins and elders and being loving and kind to them, before anyone in this society our family will know whether we are good Christians or not after all they raised and live with us, even more so we need to be great testimonies by honouring our families. 


Not only do we have to honour our family the best thing we can do is bring them to God, remember our family's salvation is in our hands. Yes, we can feed, love, support and care for our families but we also need to be bringing spiritual provision for our family. Remember what 1st Timothy 5:8 says.

Spiritual Priorities

If you ask me "what's the main principle of being a Christian?" I would tell you it's to put God and the things of God FIRST!!!!!!! But this is the thing that I don't see much of Christians in this era, most of us don't value our spiritual priorities or sadly don't have any. What do I mean by spiritual priorities? It's how we prioritize the things of God and how we serve God in our day to day lives. This is what saddens me, slowly and slowly many Christians put God and their faith as the last thing on their list of priorities. There's always an excuse why we didn't go to church, why we didn't pray, why we don't seek or fast and so on and so on, because we put our lives, the things of this world and our busy schedules before God. Okay it doesn't help that we live in the era of technology and demanding work and commitment schedules in life but surely if we serve a great God surely we can make time for him in a 24 hour day??? The Spirit Of Disobedience

Avoid such people." 2 Timothy 3:1-7   If you asked what is the reason or the biggest sin that takes Christians, people away from God? I would say justification of living in sin and when you're living in sin on PURPOSE you are disobeying God.
